Dental Implants

Dental implants are changing the way people live. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Patients with dental implants can smile with confidence.

What are Dental Implants?

The implants themselves are tiny titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors act as tooth root substitutes. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. Small posts that protrude through the gums are then attached to the implant. These posts provide stable anchors for artificial replacement teeth. Dental implants also help preserve facial structure, preventing bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.

The Surgical Procedure

First, implants are placed within your jawbone. Once they are placed we now wait only 6-8 weeks to move forward with the crown placement and in many cases we can place the implant the same day we remove a tooth. Dr. Pulver has lectured and taught on the immediate implant placement.  Inquire if you may be a candidate for this efficient and successful treatment. Most patients experience minimal disruption in their daily life.

Why Dental Implants?

Once you learn about dental implants, you finally realize there is a way to improve you life. When you lose several teeth – whether it’s a new situation or something you have lived with for years – chances are you have never become fully accustomed to losing such a vital part of yourself. Dental implants can be your doorway to renewed self-confidence and peace of mind. A Swedish scientist and orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Per-Ingvar Branemark, developed this concept for oral rehabilitation more than 35 years ago. With his pioneering research, Dr. Branemark opened the door to a lifetime of renewed comfort and self-confidence for millions of individuals facing the frustration and embarrassment of tooth loss.

Am I A Candidate For Implants?

If you have a tooth removed from tooth number 2 to 31 you are often a candidate for an immediate implant placement. What better time to have it placed than the moment your tooth is removed.  Please inquire to see if you may be a candidate for this innovative and effective treatment to get it all done at once.

Our Latest Testimonial

I have been a patient of Dr. Pulver's since Ferbruary of 2007. At an early age I developed a severe natural gag reflex. Im now 56 years of age. Dr Pulver has made me feel as comfortable as he could. I was able to take ex- rays with a full mouth tray first on the top and then the bottom of my mouth. I never thought that would ever be possible. I have had 11 teeth removed within the last year or so. Im now getting ready for the teeth to be replaced with a bridge on top and bottom along with 3 implants. I could never have had all this much needed dental work performed by anyone else that did'nt understand my dental needs. Thanks to Dr. Pulver and his wonderful staff I will be enjoying the best smile ive ever had in my life in the next couple of months.
